Peppercan, our new web-based business application from SafeComs, has just been selected as a WINNER in application and infrastructure category of a prestigious ICT Award 2009.The ICT Awards were set up to recognize originality, quality and innovation. There were many applicants across Thailand, but only four companies qualified to compete in the ‘Application and Infrastructure Tools’ category. As one of Thailand representatives, SafeComs will be flying to Melbourne, Australia this coming December to further compete in Asia Pacific ICT Award with other 16 members across the region.

Software Piracy Crackdown |

The BSA made an announce last week that they were giving a month warning to businesses to comply with legal software before launching a severe crackdown to start on 15th October. They also double the reward for denouncing companies up to 500,000 THB.
The Bangkok Post (24th September 2008) reports that a "severe crackdown" against businesses suspected of engaging in the installation and use of illegal software by the Economic and Cyber Crime Division (Ecotec) will begin in mid-October.
