Bernard Collin, Founder and CEO, Belgium ‘Nobody in town is doing what we do, which is providing secure business solutions to small and medium companies in Thailand at a fair price, with a very low initial investment and no requirement for full time in-house IT staff. We are inventing solutions and creating tools that don’t presently exist’.Bernard Collin, 54 is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SafeComs Co Ltd. SafeComs was established in 1999 in Australia to address the growing need for security for companies in the SME and Enterprise market. In 2003 Bernard launched the Asian branch of SafeComs located in Bangkok. Prior to SafeComs, Bernard was CEO of the European Office for Pacer Software of Boston Massachusetts for 10 years. He has also served as European Marketing Manager, PC Division for Digital Equipment, based in Geneva and was Regional Sales Manager for Apple Computer Europe based in Paris. Bernard holds a degree in Nuclear Electronics from the Institute of Nuclear Sciences in Brussels. He also holds certifications on Watchguard & SonicWALL firewalls and McAfee Ethernet analyzer.
Jared Dandridge, Co-Founder and COO, United-States ‘This company is more organized and has a deeper knowledge and commitment than any company I’ve ever been involved with. We are very strict ourselves, because with computers you have to be exactly right or you’re wrong’.Jared has over 18 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology industry. Jared began his career in the US Air Force, Electronic Security Command. Since then his career has taken him throughout the US and Asia, developing skills in Information Systems Management, Project Management and Business Development. Before joining SafeComs, he was Senior Manager of Business Development at Wireless Routing Centre Ltd (Thailand) and prior to this held Project Management roles in Upaid Asia Ltd (Thailand) and Marubeni Energy Service Corporation (The Philippines). He has proven expertise in evaluating, developing, and implementing technical and procedural projects for organizations, departments and workgroups. He holds an Associate of Arts Degree, is fully certified on Microsoft and SonicWall security products, and brings a high level of professional expertise to SafeComs.

He spent several years gaining valuable experience in Systems Administration, Network Security and Software Development in Europe and Thailand, as an employee of large corporations PMU (France) and AMADEUS. He is certified on many different Firewalls, Operating Systems and Antivirus software packages. His training, technical expertise and fluency in Thai language allow him to efficiently lead and train SafeComs engineering department.

Yumi Collin, Human Resources & Finance Manager, Japan Yumi developed her high level of business skills at large corporations Marubeni (Japanese Trading Co.) and Mars before establishing the Japanese branch of Verisign Inc., overseeing all operations. Yumi also worked for Uniden manufacturing in Australia where she was responsible for budgeting and reporting to the Japanese Headquarters. She went on to manage the HR and Internal Control Budgeting department of AMEX. Yumi holds a Degree in English and a qualification in Computer Studies.
Hakan Skoglund, Director of Business Development, Sweden “It’s exciting to be involved with this dynamic company in the forefront of technology. I am especially thrilled to be working with the business development of our Enterprise Management Tool “Peppercan” combining the latest in management thinking and software development while using “Software as a service” business model.” Born in Sweden in 1966, Mr. Skoglund has over 15 years of experiences living, studying and working in Thailand. During this time he has worked extensively with International and Thai companies, providing them with management consulting and advisory services, such as research, feasibility studies and strategic advice etc. He has a strong knowledge of issues relating to team building, improving organizational & strategic efficiencies and management of goals. Mr Skoglund has worked in a range of industries ranging from communications, automotive, franchising, IT security, to paper & pulp to mention a few. He is the Managing Director of Connector Asia Co. Ltd, a business advisory company, and has held a number of directorships in other companies, private as well as publicly listed. Mr. Skoglund has graduated from a directors’ certification program (IOD Thailand course no.6) aimed at raising the level of corporate governance and general business practices in companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Mr. Skoglund is currently working actively with operational improvements and business development for Safecoms Ltd where he is a Director and founding shareholder. Mr Skoglund brings goal oriented energy to any project and client management team.

Philippe, graduated with High Distinction from Haute Ecole Rennequin Sualem, started his career at CHU Liege, one of the biggest hospitals in Belgium, where he was an important actor in the implementation of an electronic medical record system. As an experienced system analyst, he has designed various customized software applications. His technical expertise allows him to efficiently lead and train SafeComs software development (RAILS) department.
